We enjoy sharing our OziExplorer knowledge with those who wish to enter the exciting world of digital mapping - this is one way of making new friends and it is for us very enjoyable. Furthermore, it allows us to give something back to the recreation (4WD touring) we have enjoyed since the mid 80's and continue to enjoy.

A couple of useful downloads...

The OziExplorer development version we use and recommend is available below for you to download(your choice to do that and use it - no guarantees). This version has some really nice enhancements particularly for us in the track side of things. The latest development version available on the OziExplorer website in our opinion is a shocker - big heaps of malfunctions!

GPS Port Checker is a great little program to identify which com port is receiving data from your GPS. In our experience this is the biggest problem encountered by newbies when setting up and this little program sorts it all out.
