Christine and Roger who are both lifetime survivors of cancer have taken notice of the proverbial “tap on the shoulder” and decided to extend their prior annual holiday choice and now tour Australia sightseeing, 4WD touring, fishing and when at home enjoying life when with their children and grandchildren while growing their new business interest. 

We both finished our previous working lives late 2004 and this new business came on the scene in January'05. Shortly afterwards we married and now, this new lifestyle travelling Australia and visiting clients along the way.

This is the foundation that Smarter Safety is being built on. Our objective is to provide a low cost, simplified, yet highly skilled Safety, Quality and Environment solution.

Christine spent 12 years with Pioneer Road Services amongst those at the "coal face" with the last 8 years as Quality, Safety & Environment Manager for Victoria, South Australia and Northern Territory. After all that time on the job Christine recently completed her formal study and achieved a Graduate Degree in OH&S.  Roger with 30 years (from 4 employees to 400+ employees) at the helm of his family's supermarket chain understands the difficulties experienced by independent business operators; difficulties like being responsible for everything. Now with a continually growing long list of clients over 5 states and many industries our knowledge base is expanding every day.

Christine's Safety Plans regularly receive "rave reviews" from principal contractors and are often described as the best "marketing tools" - used correctly, they actually pay their own way generating business for clients.

We not only create and install systems but most importantly we continue to maintain them ensuring ongoing compliance allowing clients to focus on the income producing parts of the business. Annual support includes professional OH&S assistance with tenders ensuring better opportunities of success.

Our means of transport is a 4WD with accommodation behind which means no expensive airline travel or accommodation like many others.

Distance is not an issue, we are able to communicate by phone and e-mail to develop and post a system within days if necessary with follow up risk assessments and audits when we are nearby.

With wireless broadband e-mail checked daily and phones constantly on, we are always there for our clients when the chips are down and they need that urgent  support right now!
