  • ONLINE Safety Data Sheets (SDS) - the law says you must make these accessible to all your employees and sub contractors for all Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances on your work site. You can either manager these in the traditional manner by printing and maintaining a folder and then the regular updates as these documents do have a Use By date, or much easier, set everyone up as USERS on SmarterScreen and let them access SDS files electonically - no more onging management by you.

It is very important to keep the Plant Register current and up to date at all times because this information is used by Smarter Safety to create/update your Plant Risk Assessments.

ONLINE Mobile Powered Plant Pre-Starts - the law says you must have a Pre-Start completed for every item of plant before it commences work that day.  You can either manage this in the traditional manner by printing books and following up to ensure they are completed, collected, checked and filed or much easier, set everyone up as USERS on SmarterScreen and let Plant Operators access Pre-Starts online.  

  • On mobile phone or tablet. This is extremely easy - the plant operator using any connected mobile device goes on to SmarterScreen, selects the item of plant from the integrated "drop-down" menu listing of your plant and they simply "follow their fingers". 
     
  • A photo and input text can be included by the user to better describe a fault.
     
  • Plant with an identified fault results in an automatic email copy of it's Pre-Start going to the responsible person to enable action in advance of the plant returning.
     
  • Input hours/kilometres at each Pre-Start interfaces with the Plant & Equipment Maintenance Management module to provide a detailed history report and service alerts.
     
  • When finished and submitted, the result immediately appears on your SmarterScreen for viewing, printing or sharing and is by default, archived.

ONLINE Site Hazard / Toolbox Meetings - the law says you must have a Site Hazard / Toolbox Meeting completed every day on every work site. You can either manage this in the traditional manner by printing books and following up to ensure they are completed, collected, checked and filed or much easier, set everyone up as USERS on SmarterScreen and let them participate in electronic Site Hazard / Toolbox Meetings.  

  • On mobile phone or tablet - supervisor completes questions by selecting options and  onscreen notes can be input if necessary. All  attendees sign on screen on completion.
     
  • When submitted the result immediately appears on your SmarterScreen for viewing, printing or sharing and is by default, archived.
     
  • If a late attendee turns up, the earlier Site Hazard/Toolbox Meeting document can be called up and copied for this person to go through and sign.

ONLINE Crew and Depot Audits - to maximise your compliance history, Crew and Depot Audits need to be done and recorded from time to time. You can either manage this in the traditional manner by going to you system manual and copying a form or in the case of SmarterScreen downloading a copy, going off and completing the audit, then returning the document to the office to be filed or simply take out your mobilre phone when you have some down time, go into SmarterScreen and complete your audit on line.  

  • This is extremely easy, all you do is "follow your fingers" answering the pre-set questions. 
     
  • Onscreen notes can be made if necessary and when finished sign with a finger tip on screen. 
     
  • Immediately the finished Crew or Depot Audit is submitted, it appears on and is securely archived on your SmarterScreen

ONLINE Incident Reports - to maximise your compliance history, you should heavily educate and continually reinforce with all your workers and sub contractors to raise Incident Reports for all accidents and near misses in an effort to raise awareness as to dangerous activities and as a result positively promote safety on site. Your jursdiction authority loves to see lots of Incident Reports as it is a positive, not a negative.

  • The traditional method is to source an Incident Report form from the worksite documentation, fill it out and get it back to the office to be investigated and filed. A much easier and far more effective menthod is for the person concerned to simply pull out their mobile phone, go into SmarterScreen, select Incident Report and "follow their fingers" answering the pre-set questions. 
  • Onscreen notes can be made if necessary and when finished, the user signs with their finger tip on screen. 
     
  • Immediately the finished Incident Report is submitted, it appears on SmarterScreen ready for investigation and at the same time is securely archived.
     
  • An automated email copy is automatically sent to the responsible person.

    This is where you take total control of your business and plan all the jobs in advance, input all the primary details, upload all the relevant documents, select the appropriate SWMS and input your own notes recording yor thoughts, instructions and advice to those who will carry out the task.
     

    • This is simply a matter of "following your fingers". 
       
    • Setup the job address/location details, add client contact information, upload all relevant documents and select the appropriate SWMS.
       
    • The SWMS for this job will automatically flow through to the Site Hazard/Toolbox Meeting for this job.
       
    • Add your own special instructions and requirements.
       
    • If you have more than one crew this is particularly brilliant allowing you to provide all the information online which is accessible by the Job Supervisor when the task commences.
       
    • The person/s whom the job is allocated to can access the whole file and all the information relevant to it.
       
    • Manage the job process over the duration of the task and finally have the whole job archived as an all time record of what occurred which can be easily accessed if necessary.

    ONLINE Plant and Equipment Maintenance Management

    Principal contractors are more often these days seeking proof of plant maintainance before providing site entry permission. Continue the messy old expensive task of rumaging around looking for bits and pieces of paper, then photocopying it all or simply press one button to receive a printout in date order of every Pre-Start and every Service/Maintainence activity on each item of Plant.
